I took these photos from outside of Sam Yick's Pet Shop at Marine Parade. Heee.

They looked so cute! Imagine them all squeezing out from the small hole. And most of them were sound asleep. Haha.

Chu1 Si4

Everyday is ang pows, red packets, ang bao, hong bao... *Lots of Smilez*

Oh yes, I love receiving red packets but no, I'm not money-face hor... I simply love receiving LOTS of them. Quantity.

I haven't count how much I've received so far. Today I got 3 more. One from my paternal grandma who dotes me lots. I don't need someone to tell me that, everyone can see my grandma is biased. :P (She thinks I look like her.)

Grandma's ang pow felt thick, I thought, Wow, so thick? Indeed, inside contained a $100 note and 20 pieces of $1 notes. Hmmm thinking about it now, I felt bad for receiving this much from her. Afterall, my grandma is retired, no salary.

I have wonderful grandparents. Maternal grandpa (used to or still?) dotes me. I remember when i'm small, he would say I'm a little China girl, very quiet and lady-like.

I used to be quite quiet when the adults talk and cousins play or watch tv. Sometimes, I happened to catch my grandpa looking at me, and he would smile and say 'Guai hor?' And I just smile back (shyly). Little silly me used to think maybe grandma won't like me because I 'stole' grandpa's attention.

Come to think about it, I'm very blessed. I would understand why my siblings would get jealous once a long while. (Haa, I assume they don't read my blog.)

Anyway.

For the past few days, I woke up early to shower and dress up. Been doing so for 5 days continuously.

Continuously. This word I will always remember and never spell it wrong. Why? Because this word has memories. When I was in Primary 6, my English was quite of good standard. (Used to attend Collin School.)

However, my Spelling was horrible. Even so now. Haa. Sounds familiar to Sec 4 friends. :P

Anyway.

There's this guy in my class, sitting next to me. In other words, my partner lar. Remember, I kanna scolded by Mrs Ng (and almost burst into tears), because I couldn't spell 'continuously'. Felt so sad. Then he leant over and told me,

'Just remember it has 2 u. See?' He wrote, 'Continue.' And said, 'Add a uos-ly to continue, you'll get the word right.'

Wow. Thanks to him. I always remember the word. Even if I forget, I'll recall... And remember. Like what I just did. :)

Ah, enough of my digression.

CNY has been fun for me. Before CNY, I went shopping and shopping. Didn't buy a lot of new clothes, but enough to wear. Just went orchard with dear sis and we spend $52 at Tangs sale, then went Haagen daz for waffle and ice cream. Used up the Starhub vouchers.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow!

Picnic at East Coast!

Morning, I woke up and prepared food. Roasted chicken wings, fruit salad, egg mayo sandwich, ham and cheese sandwich, taiwan sausages, chicken seaweed nuggets and fishballs. Wow. Sounds like a feast... but it's all in small portions lar. Haa.

It wasn't that hard to prepare the food.

For sandwiches and salad:

First, I boiled two eggs till hardboil. While waiting, I cut apples and strawberries, wash vege for salad. Put all together with mayo, in FREEZER (except the vege because will turn soaky).

Once the eggs are ready, I peel off the skin and mash with a fork.
Add mayo.
Cut away the brown portions of bread, to make the sandwiches look nicer. Spread the egg mayo onto bread. Then, ham and cheese.

For roasted chicken wings:

Marinate the wings with char siew sauce ('cop' from my maid). Let them soak for a while. While waiting, I place all the finger foods onto the grill plate in a oven-cum-toaster thing.

*Ting* It's ready! This time place in the wings and...

*Ting* All done.
Pack everything in boxes. Take out salad in freezer and add in the vege. Off I go.

Had a good time at the beach. Relaxing. Hiding in the little tent. So wonderful. :)

At night, I counted a total of 113 stars. I promise I really counted. I got witness aah.

I simply love picnics.

ZzzZzz

Hi blog,

I'm bored. Half watching a Korean drama on Cable TV 55. Looks nice. Hot guys. Pretty girls. Slow yet interesting plot. A typical Korean drama.

You know, Korean actors are not handsome at all, except for Won bin. Others are just charming or have a kind of 'sey'. Korean actresses always make me wonder is plastic surgery really so POWER ?

Anyway. Chinese New Year is coming!! Aren't you excited?! *Beams*

Well, I am. And looking forward to 'Chu yi'.
(Yaah.. actually just the ang pows. Ha!)

Finally I've completed my IS assignments. Last whole week was so busy! Oh yes! Which reminded me! I forgot to blog about my day at TP!!!!! OM.

Alright. I shall add on in here. OM. How can I forget...

It was an EXCITING day! TP looks like a great campus to study in. Everywhere is students and more students.

Everyone is busy chatting, rushing for lectures, loitering around, pacing about while waiting for schoolmates, meeting friends and rushing to queue for food. So lively.

Where's the two missing members?!

Me and Ah bao in the Library Posted by Hello

I like the library. There's classical music playing softly in the fully air-conditioned library. Can sleep. In fact, I saw two students sleeping soundly on the sofa.

The usual three Posted by Hello

Haha... Just looking at the pictures, I feel happy. :)
Unknowingly smiling to the monitor screen. Lucky, no one witness my stupidness. Wahaha...! *Bish myself*

Turning haywired. Signal time to sleep. Night!
