A New Change

... To my blog of 2 years. :)

I like this simple design. Looks comfortable for the eyes.

A quick update of what is happening to my life:

1. I'm working almost everyday at my dad's Ubi shop, until the workers fly over from China, which is probably next week. Yay!

2. Went shopping last Wednesday, alone, which I enjoyed every much. Seriously, I love shopping alone. Sales person is especially polite to loner shopper, if you noticed. :P

3. Bought a black laced empire cut blouse from Future State, white mini jacket from Le' range Isetan, shiny black Mondo high pumps and Face shop automatic black eyeliner. Used vouchers. ^_^

4. Tomorrow's my cousin's wedding!!! I'm sooo excited!! It's a church wedding in the morning and afternoon. Dinner in the evening. :) He's my first cousin who is getting married.

5. Sold a few more pieces of jewellery online. :) Not making big bucks, just a tiny bit. It's all just for fun and experience.

F 4-1 Class gathering 25/06/06 (Sun)

Finally, another Secondary school class gathering since the last one I missed. Everyone looked slightly different! And I'm glad i met all my old friends. :)

I've only met lz, mabel and jing rong after O levels. Others I've never seen them since Sec 4, that is about 4.6 years ago...! Ok. Let's have a head count. We have: lizhen, mabel, ruth, liqin, susanty, jing rong, samuel, cheng wen, joseph, fabian, andy, zhi xin, tong seng, liang wei (huang shang!)...

Anyone I missed out? :P This is more than 1/3 of the class alr!

AH!!! And I only just realised my dear Viva is married in Australia!!! WOAH.... Congrats!! (Although it's a bit late now... Haha..) I'm just so happy for you girl. :))

And I also heard others getting married early (no, it's not what you think), and I suddenly like marrying myself off too! Haha... Kidding only. :P

I'm happy to see my old classmates all grown up, especially huang shang. Hahaha... Not bad ah. He used to be slightly taller than me. Now he's about 167?? Aiya, guys can just suddenly shoot up. What do you eat btw?? I've forgotten to ask him....

Anyway. Our gathering organiser ended up leaving very early and we had no plans in mind after lunch. So we walked aimlessly around Marina Square and I'm surprised the guys actually accompanied us while we shopped away!!

See? I told you my Sec school guy mates are nice people (unlike my jc guy mates... oops!)

I mean, even my bf don't really like to shop with me, so I'm quite amazed that they don't mind at all. And... We went to Zara and I even had the chance to try on a few pieces. Though the guys are busy talking among themselves, they still tag along as we pick clothes. :)

The guys even followed us to Mango Sale! If you don't know, Mango sale is packed with people everyday. What's more a Sunday. Our nice guys went in with us and I don't know about the rest, but jing rong tagged along me and lz, and he even offered opinons on the clothes we picked. Hahaha...

After shopping, we took a few photos, out of nowhere, with the help of a stranger. Haa! **People, whoever has photos, please send a copy to everyone ok??**

After that, mabel and few others left and the rest of us went Coffee club for drinks. And we chatted for quite a long time, while a few more left. That leaves us with lizhen, ruth, jing rong, joseph, fabian and me. :)

Shortly after lz left and we sent ruth to her bus stop. The rest of us went to Eunos food centre for prata and satay. It's yummy! I wanna go back there for the prata again.

So... My Sec school class gathering ended at 10.45pm. I'm glad i went. :)

Genting Highlands June 2006

I'm back!!!!

Just checked my email. 52 Inbox. I have emails from auctioners, questions from interested people who wants to pre-order some accessories, more questions, new spree notices, sellers, spree updates, forward mails etc.

I took about an hour to reply all. I got to send out a parcel tomorrow and go down to Toa payoh to find the accessories. I've just started selling accessories online. :)

Genting Trip

I went for a 4 days 3 nights trip to Genting with bf and big family. All together 17 of us. I've met his relatives before so it wasn't that awkward for me. :)

Most of the time, I've been babysitting, watching soccer in the casino or simply being a shopping tour guide. Haha. I didn't have the chance to explore all the shops in First World. No time!

Anyway. We stayed at First World Hotel. The rooms are not as bad as I thought. I think there are smaller rooms. Slept at 1 plus almost every night. That explains my dark eye rings. :P

Since Genting Day 1, I've been watching World Cup either in hotel room or at the casino. Watched about 5 matches since World Cup started.

*WOAAAH* So unlike me right?

As if I have a choice. Everyone's crazy about soccer. I guess I can watch a little, won't die. I have to admit some matches are very interesting.

Babysitting is tiring. As you see, my bf and I were the only 'grown ups' among the younger generation. So I also have the responsibility to look after my bf's cousins. Duhz. It's pretty alright going out with the older cousin who's 19 this year. 'Cause we shop for the same things.

But looking after xf and brenda is not as easy, especially brenda who's only 11 this year. I felt like a mother looking after her. Makes me feel old. Haha!

Hey, I actually bring her to girls shop to buy hairclips and earrings for her. I even pick clothes for her to try on. It's not easy lor, i tell you. Children are hard to please.

Anyway, we bought a pink and grey sweater, pink hairclips, teddy bear clips and a pink blouse within a day. Not bad right... :)

It was the first time I enter a casino! It's quite similar to what we always see on tv. And I got excited about the free drinks and snacks. I drank 3 cups of milo, 1 teh and 1 mango fruit punch, ate cup noodles for free! These were all consumed by me in just Day 1. :P

I didn't play or gamble anything. I don't know how to. The jackpots look confusing to me. It's not like what we see on tv leh.. where you only have to put in a coin, pull the handle and wait for the pictures to roll.

Anyway gambling is addictive and it should only be played for fun.

I bought Vinci slippers for RM19.90, make up pouch from Lovely Lace at RM9.80, 2 phone stickers at RM5.90 each, pencil case at RM3.90, bum equipment long wallet at RM44 (gift from bf), Padini tee at RM23 (gift from bf's mum), nautical necklace from Voir at RM19.90 and 300g of famous amos cookies. :)

Coach and accomodation are paid, so I only spent $70 in this trip. Thanks to the uncle who paid for all, thanks to the relatives who treat us lunch and dinner almost everyday. :)

Just came back...

From ah bao's party. It's terrific. One of the best birthday parties I've been too. Good company, good crowd, friendly hosts... Great food! Delicious cake! I had lots of fun! :)

As anyone can see, I was in a super good mood. Haha. I don't know why, maybe it's because my exams are over too! Thanks ah bao for inviting me to her 21st birthday party!!

Met uncle Chee hua and it's the first time I see him since JC. He's as cranky as before. Haa. Funny uncle.

Finally talked to Wei qiong? (...shit, i forgot his name again...) You see, this guy was in my JC class for 2 years but I've never talked to him before. Haa. So I'm excused from forgetting his name again! :P

Met Kar wai, also one of the 'non-regulars' of our class, who rarely appear or show face. Ah I know you don't read my blog but you really look like hj's brother!

Fabian's car is cool. A typical red sports car. Thanks for the ride home! I know he also don't read my blog. Haha

Jian long's a cook! He's taking over his father's business. Cool. This is what I'm planning to do in the future. Got chance, we do business together ah. Ah bao can also take over her mum's business. OK. Let's open a foodcourt in 10 years time!
