A little more details of Me...

Some info about me:

I love spreeing online and selling things off yahoo auctions.

I watch Hong Kong drama serials and only Cable TV. I dislike local shows especially local drama productions. I've stopped watching Channel 8 since I'm 14.

I like romantic Korean movies, and i usually cry at sad parts. Haa.

Sushi is my favourite food. I like fresh sashimi best.

I don't like chatting on the phone. Phone to me is a tool strictly for communication only. I prefer face to face talk. My friends often say I'm too direct in words. I have to admit sometimes i do talk too frankly. :P

I like classical music, especially string orchestra and piano. I'm one who enjoys plays and concerts. I love literature and i trully regretted giving it up in JC.

Jolin is the only singer whose songs I can listen to and never get bored, albums after albums.

I like the ideal of baking cakes and cooking up dishes in a well-built kitchen. If there's a choice, I would like to be a 100% housewife. If possible, I want to have half a dozen of children!

Yup. I like sweeping and mopping up the floor. Crazy i know. I'm half a clean freak. I can't stand untidyness.

I used to read many books, but i've lost the interest after entering JC. School makes me feel sick of reading. But I'm trying to get back the interest.

Pink is the ultimate favourite colour of mine. I like the real pink hello kitty, not Macdonald's hello kitty.

That's all for now.

Saturday 26th August 2006

It has been 2 weeks since my last update. I've been busy these few weeks, working as a part time promoter at Taka's baby fair. Tomorrow's my last day of work! Yay!

I have to say being a promoter for baby products is quite an interesting job. And rare too. Yeah, I know it may sound incredible especially when I don't have a baby of my own, I look far too young to be a mother and I don't even know how to play or talk to a baby...

For some background info of my family, I don't have baby cousins neither do I have relatives with babies. My first cousin only just got married few months back and I don't think there'll be a baby soon, at least not for another 2 years.

So you can imagine my first day at work. Not only am I trying to be the good, friendly salesgirl, I'm also stunned by the number of babies and pregnant mothers I see at work. If I were the type who fears babies and children, I would have gone crazy.

I dunno if there's really such an illness but I do detest kids when I was younger. Kids were a nuisance then. There's even a point in time I decided not to have babies when I get married. Ah, stupid of me I know.

Anyway. I love babies now. All babies in the world are adorable, cute and oh-so-huggable! :)

Their clothes are so small, like miniature of what adults wear. There're also cardigans, dresses, jumpers, hats, flower skirts, pink pyjamas etc. for toddlers. Sometimes I have the sudden urge to buy a set home, but for what use I don't know! Eric suggested I dress up my dolls, maybe my teddy bears. Haha!

I'm looking forward to my day at work tomorrow. :)

Goodnight!

Singapore Zoo 12th August 06, Saturday

It has been years since I last visited the Singapore Zoo. Admission price is $20 per adult, so expensive! But we didn't need to pay because his aunt has a 'Friends of the Zoo' card.

The zoo is not as big as expected. We completed our tour in about 6 hours. The lions and cheetahs are missing. Makes me worry if they've escaped from their enclosure. Like in the Jurassic Park movie, 'Where are all the dinosaurs??'

We missed the Australian kangeroo and some reptiles. I don't like reptiles and snakes anyway.

I love the penguins and polar bears!!!

I like looking at the penguins in their winter enclosure. They are soo cute! I have a video clip that shows how blur they are. Hahaha.

I like looking at polar bears when they swim. They look soo clumsy and furry. We waited for quite a long time for one of the polar bears to dive into the water. We also witnessed him standing up on two legs and clapping his hands!

I have photos as proof, not kidding you all. :P

Baboons
are amazing too. Male baboons are fierce and are very pampered by their female partners. The ones with the biggest red ass are males. Haha. Took me some time to distinguish them. Baby baboons are very tiny. They either cling onto their mother's chest or sit on their backs.

Exhibits I would like to visit again:

1. Fragile forest - Butterflies, the-black-and-white monkey-looking animal (don't know call what), mousedeers, red birds, yellow birds, orange monkey-looking animal etc.

2. Children world animal land - Goats, sheeps, chicks, horse, rabbits, ponies etc.

Me with a baby goat! :)

This goat on the left is nanny goat, I think. I don't dare to touch her. That's not my hand by the way. The goats look hungry and bored. We witnessed one goat shit and urine on the ground. His ass is just facing us. Eeeks.

Anyway, we had an enjoyable day at the Zoo. I'll upload more pictures the next time. :)
