Another boring day...

Finally, I've finished my Economics revision after skipping a bit of here and there. (Oops.) Haven't started doing past year papers for the subject... Starting on Statistics now.

Today I woke up with a swollen eye!
Dotz. I don't know what happened... Maybe it's because...

1. I slept with my contact lenses for half an hour.
2. I rubbed my eye with dirty hands.
3. I didn't wash away the eyeliner properly the day before.
4. I ate lousy prawns (allergic reaction?)
5. I didn't get enough sleep and I cry now and then.
6. I'm just too heaty. Never drink enough water.

Or I miss someone too badly. Haa.

Anyway, I'm on a fruit diet today. I ate 6 slices of papaya, 1 banana and 1 ham sandwich. *Fruitti* Now I'm drinking barley.

I sound like a hamster.

Oh yeah, the Starbucks table and chairs are here already! Haha. The sales person said it's the last set because Starbucks bought all and that there won't be new stock. (Maybe he lied.)

You know, the metal table and chairs for dining outdoors? Small table for two? Paya Lebar Coffee Bean has a few outside.

I hope to complete half of my Statistics notes today. Studying for exams is making people crazy...

Lazy day...

Two days ago, I slammed my right thumb with the bathroom door while searching for my mum's purse in the dark. It was painful but bearable so I didn't care about it. I just held onto the injuried thumb, rubbed it and continued searching...

Until I paused and thought maybe I should check my thumb, so I looked at it.
*Shocked* I saw blood on on both my hands.

Getting a little panicky, I rushed to the toilet with the lights on to take a closer look. By then, my sister came up to help me find.

She saw my hands and exclaimed,'PAPA, MAMA!! Da jie's hands are bleeding!'

I was still trying figure out where the blood came from. Then I washed my hands under the tap and found the cut. Ooh. Quite a deep cut. I guessed it bursted.

My parents rushed upstairs soon after. I tried to stop the bleeding. Felt tears in my eyes though it wasn't that painful. The bleeding didn't stop initially so I applied pressure on my thumb. After that it stopped.

My mum said my blood looked like dilute, said I should eat more meat and take vitamin daily. She helped my paste plaster. :)

Now, it's better. I don't have to put plaster now unless going out or bathing.

Tiring day

I nearly forgot today's a Sunday. Why? Because I spent yesterday and today in school from 9am to 5pm. School! On weekend!

Having a slight headache since the journey home. Cramped with too much new infomation. The bumpy ride made me feel giddy.

My bf flew off yesterday. He went Taiwan. :(

Nevermind, days go by very fast. Soon he'll be back. *Comfort myself*

Exams are two weeks away... Just realised I haven't blogged about anything happy so far.

*Yawn

I think I'll watch tv later.

19/04/2005

Some reader complained I didn't update my blog so for her sake, I'll update. Haa.

Today I went to CDC for my 18th lesson. It was so hot! So (...I want to say bloody) hot. I had to use an umbrella for shelter and I could feel my cheeks burning... Ok, a little exaggerated.. But I know my face was red.

The instructor was alright, though he's a little panicky type. I couldn't really look into his face because he had many expressions, which made me stressed. He looked like he was very eager to teach.

After a break of 20 days, I'm glad I could still remember how to drive. Haha. My left foot went numb half an hour before the lesson end. Really felt no feeling at the ball of my foot, so I requested to put to neutral gear whenever there's a chance to.

*Sigh.

I learnt vertical parking and parallel parking today. Revised on S and crank course, which I've forgotten the techniques. Got 1 stamp only.

Coming thursday is my next lesson and there will be another long break until after my exams.

12th April 2005

That day we celebrated px's birthday at NTU! Bought a sinful chocolate cake and popped into the room she was studying in, with the cake and lighted candles. Haa. Surprise!

Thanks to her room mate who helped us with the surprise. Oh. And also to the lady smoker whom we borrowed the lighter from.

From the lift, we had to walk slowly slowly towards the room to make sure the candles don't go out.

NTU's so big. Uphill and downhill everywhere. Climbing up and down everyday will get slim! Furthermore the canteen's so far away. If I were to stay at NTU's hostel, I think I'll either starve myself because I'm lazy to climb to the canteen or I'll stuff myself with cup noodles and instant porridge, which is unhealthy.

Looking at the students studying at the benches, canteen and rooms, I felt a little bit stressed. I asked if this is the usual scene you see, it's not. Phew. It's because NTU exams are coming within a week.

Study hard everyone! Jia you!

But after their exams, it's mine that's coming! Ahhh....

Zoom zoom!

Friday was a happy day. That afternoon, I met ay first to walk around Toa Payoh. Yoa Payoh is my 'di4 pan2'. I won't get lost in Toa Payoh. Hehe.

Ask me where is the old Popular or old bank is, I know! Ask me which spects shop is highly recommened, I know! Ask me where to buy bubble tea at $1, I also know!

We met eb at the library and I borrowed accounting books to bring home and read. After that we had laksa at $2 with lots of hums. Nice. Then we went Mos Burger to drink milk tea and eat apple pies while waiting for nick to come.

Evening, the four of us went touring around in car with eb driving. At some point in time, eb drove past 100 km/h and I started to get a little nervous. Been looking at the speedometer since we started off. Think he don't know.

First, we went to nearly the end of Singapore, somewhere near Sungeh Belo (sp) nature park. Surprisingly at which a 'wu lu' place, people were having bbq, fishing and strolling in the park.

I wanted to take a photo of the signboard that says 'WARNING: Beware of crocodiles'. But it's tooo dark there. I didn't see any crocodiles climbing up the shore so I guess it's just to deter people from swimming illegally across to Malaysia.

Just opposite the end of the shore, we can see Malaysia. It is like looking at a longer stretch of CBD at night, farway.

After that, we drove to some 'wu lu' roads again and even had to search for the place in the street directory. The guys wanted to go to somewhere near St. Christine camp. Anyone knows this place? It's a camp for guides and scouts.

Eb had to drove on rocky and bumpy road into the wilds. Haha. Not exactly the wilds but looks like it. We had to on high beam because there're no street lights. We even tried to off the lights and oh my...

It's very dark!

Finally we reached another end of the shore, a place that looks like a mini jetty. Wow. The stars are the brightest there! And we can see them twinkling like diamonds up high in the sky. Heee.

I could have seen more if I wear spects. Had a hard time walking around because of the rocks on the ground. So many!

We 'spied' on the guides in the camp site. Hehe. I wonder will they scream if they see us because it's so dark there.

Before going to the last stop, we drove to some Civil Defence place and right outside the entrance, there's a hugh army tank on display. The tank looks real to me.

Lastly, we drove to NTU campus. Haha. We wanted to find a toilet and canteen. Ended up going to the canteen where px brought me, hj and ps to during our visit to her hostel!

NTU is so big. We drove round and round and finally found our way out. After that eb drove us home. What a tiring yet happy day. :)

It's 1am!

I'm suppose to be sleeping now... Hehe. Just want to blog about yesterday and today. Me, hj, ps and sharon went to search high and low for px's present. (Don't know if she'll read this entry.) I'll just 'zip' my mouth for now. Well, I'm pretty sure she'll like her present!

We went Bugis yesterday and found a street of shops somewhere in between Bugis Village, selling skirts at $10 only! Oh my. I'm going back to dig for a nice one someday.

Bought a Coka cola tee that is in a shade of bright blue at $10 and I regretted a bit for choosing that colour now. Haa. Nevermind, only $10, what else can I ask for?

Today, hj, ps and I went Tampines to hunt for present. Travelled all the way there and my legs were aching. Journey was long.

And I did a silly thing.

When going home, I boarded bus 15 and only realised I took the wrong direction when the bus stopped at the interchange... ... Stupid me.

*Bish myself*
This is not the first time!
*Bish*
This not the second time either!

And this is not third time too... How can I be so blur?

Sigh. I think today's unlucky. Just now, I opened a trick video clip and some monster popped out and it screamed horribly. Dotz. Do you all know I always had a probia since the day I first opened a scary clip?

I remember clearly I had the volumn turned up high. It was a trick test, to identify some idiotic figures and all of a sudden. Sheesh. A bloody face popped out and it screamed. Wah kao.

I screamed and jerked my chair backwards so far. My sis ran over to see what's wrong. She's a witness of such horrible, cruel pranks!! I tell you, I was so scared!

Since then for a long period of time, I NEVER switch on my speakers volume. NEVER. Even though it's a cartoon. I would think maybe this is another trick. Not even clips from trusted friends. One fright is enough.

I hope people who made these clips will be punished! I don't care.

After a long time I finally turn on the volume but even so it would be at the lowest. Just now, that stupid clip did the same thing. Unfortunately, I had the speakers volume on but at the lowest. Still, I had a fright and my heart didn't feel comfortable for some time.

Argh. Hj, I understand your cockroach feeling now. Thanks to the clip, I felt so jumpy afterwards.

Because of the clip, as I was going down the stairs, I trip over a step and almost fell.

....

Luckily it was my right foot and I swang towards the stairs railing.

....

Nonetheless, the evening events didn't spoil my day. Tomorrow will be a better day!

I had a happy day

I had a relaxing day today. Although we planned to study at East Coast's Mac but on the way to there it started to drizzle and soon, the sky was pouring rain.

Luckily, we both brought umbrella. This morning I was still deciding whether to take it out. Hehe. Though half wet, I quite enjoyed myself. Cooling but sometimes cold.

The leaves were falling off the trees. Brown, crispy leaves scattered everywhere. I scared I'll fall down 'cause my slippers are slippery.

We walked to Mac. WAH. So many people. First time I see so many people in a Macdonald Restaurant. Luckily, we found a table not long after. I had coke float.

Hee :)

Did I say I love coke float? Because it's a 2 in 1. If you're thristy yet you want to eat ice cream, take a coke float instead!

But I never even take out my book. Inital plan was to run at the park near my place but was postponed too. Haa.

P/s: I'm listening to Guan Liang's Tong Hua. Nice.

April's Fool Day

Yay. I know 1st April to many is a time to make fool of people. BUT.. To me, every 1st day of the month, it's monthly anniversary! Haha. Ok lar, I admit I always forget but that doesn't mean I don't care.

Hmmm... *Recalls yesterday*

Evening, I had dinner at Crystal Jade with ay and eb. We had fried butter prawns, sweet and sour pork, a vegetable and dessert. Ay had abalone porridge with meatballs and she don't want the abalone and meatballs. Dotz. I eat. Haha.

We enjoyed ourselves and each pay around $20 only! Hee. I don't like their desserts. Expensive and nothing special.

After dinner, ay left and I went to eb's place. While waiting for nick to come, we watched Korean vcd with his mum and pampered his doggy, Rusty. He always wants me to sayang him, pat his head else he will keep nudging me and always sleep on my lap! Naughty Rusty!

After that I've finally got to ride in new car! Eb drove and we went Changi Village, then to some ferry terminal to explore. Quite interesting, though I was tired.

I want to go on cruise someday! Wah. I want to go to Disneyland too.

Happy day. ^_^
