Quizbox

Get to know yourself better

Your view on yourself:

You are intelligent, honest and sweet. You are friendly to everybody and don't like conflict. Because you're so cheerful and fun people are naturally attracted to you and like to talk to you.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:

You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.

The seriousness of your love:

You are very serious about relationships and aren't interested in wasting time with people you don't really like. If you meet the right person, you will fall deeply and beautifully in love.

Your views on education

Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.

The right job for you:

You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.

How do you view success:

You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.

What are you most afraid of:

You are afraid of things that you cannot control. Sometimes you show your anger to cover up how you feel.

Who is your true self:

You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

Woaaah... I can say this quiz is creepy! True on relationship, education and fear.

Bangkok here I come....!

I'm going to Bangkok!! Yippee! Hooray~! I'm totally excited about the trip. Hehehe

Booked flights and rooms alr. Holiday will be from the 3rd to 6th of Nov. Hehe. Staying at Windsor Suites Hotel Bangkok at $104 per night. Cheap for a suite! *Happy*

Airfare + accomodation is about $350.

My mum's sponsering me $600, which is more than I've expected. :) That leaves me with about $250 to spend on food, shopping and taxis. I need to bring another $150 just in case I've run out of cash.

Ps's friend and bf spend $700+ just on shopping and eating. Eeeks. The bf bought 20 shirts, loads of Levi's and Adidas. She bought 10 necklaces and countless of that things. I'm going crazy just hearing that.

I heard a tee cost about $2-3?!?!

I've been surfing information on day markets, night markets, shopping malls, places of interest like cultural centres, temples and rivers in Bangkok. It's so exciting planning where to go, what to see and what to eat!

I want to try the traditional Tom Yam soup, white curry, beef noodles, banana prata with condensed milk and other food from roadside stalls... I also want to go for Baiyoke sky buffet at 76th floor and dine at Fuji Restaurant at Emporium.

My shopping target: 8 tees, 5 pair of shoes, 5 earrings, 4 necklaces, 3 retro blouses, 3 bags, 3 sets of wacoal, 2 half-length tops (to be worn with tights), 2 skirts, 2 shorts, 1 pants, 1 shirt dress, 1 kimono top, 1 v-neck top, 1 off shoulder, 1 shades...

Counting down.... 11 more days to Bkk! ^_^

Quick updates on yesterday and today

Fri, 6 Oct:

After school, I had dinner with my grandparents, grandpa's friends, aunts and uncles, cousins and my family members. We went to the restaurant named Prima something at PSA. When my dad drove into the carpark, we thought we're in Malaysia. The place looks 'lok kok'. Somemore there is valet parking...

When I climbed up the stairs and stepped into the restaurant, oh my, I felt I was in the state of motion sickness. Like suddenly drunk like that. The bloody restaurant is moving! Recalling now, I also feel giddy.

My cousins arrived before us and were at the table. I guess they were already half blur le. Haha. That day was super hazy, PSI 128, so we don't have a nice scenary.

The food is....... I don't know what to say... I guess I don't know how to appreciate yah? It's supposed to be prepared by Singapore's top chef. The one who is the judge of food competition on TV shows.

Ok, to be fair, the beijing duck is very nice. But the meat is wasted. I rather I use my hands to eat, than fry it with beansprouts and ended up tasting like xing zhou chao mian.

The dinner was more like food tasting, not filling to the stomach. Small portion. By the 3rd dish, my bro, sis and I decided we need prata for supper. Haha. (Of course we didn't lar.)

What's interesting is that the food was delivered through the lift. So funny... The kitchen and toilet are downstairs.

Dinner was super ex. 500+ per table for serving size of 8, which is more like for 5... We occupied 2 tables. Nvm, as long as ah gong (treats us and) is happy. :P

Saturday, 7 Oct:

After school, I attended a Vienna Boys Choir concert at the Esplanade Concert hall. Very happening right...

The boys are cute and I think they are probably 10 years old? 10 years old with powerful voice ok.

10 years old I was in a Gold award choir that recorded an album in a studio for the school's 50th Anniversary. Like very impressive right? ... The cd sounds horrible now. Hahaa.

Anyway. Eb, nick, nick's friend and I sat in the first row of Circle 2, which is like 2 storeys above ground. And we paid 40+ for a ticket. Gosh. Vienna Boys are expensive...

I think this kind of concert is once in a lifetime thing. Again, I don't really know how to appreciate. I'm just wasting somebody's chance and opportunity of appreciating the performance. Haha!

But at least I know a bit of here and there ok. Unlike some audience who clapped wrongly, twice somemore, when the performance haven't ended. There were also people who coughed, whispered or wriggled in their seats (duhz), made unneccesary noise. There is a reason why brochures are made of the hard type of material ok.

Done.

The Brainteaser Test

The Brainteaser Test
Are You A Mastermind?

Shimin, you answered 23 out of 30 questions correctly!

Congratulations! Your score is in the 91st percentile. This means that if one hundred people took the test with you, your score would rank higher than 90 of them on average.

When we analyzed your test, we also discovered that when it comes to logical ability, you measure in the 99th percentile. This score indicates you have unusually strong abilities when it comes to to solving problems with logic. There are situations that require having a very precise thinking process to cut through the array of stimuli, and you can do this well. You can easily detect the underlying logic while others cannot. While others may get confused by things that are complex or out of order, your logical ability allows you to persevere and solve multi-layered problems.

*********

Did a brainteaser test and that's my results. Not very accurate as you can see. 99% logical?! I'm not that logical. Haa. Anyway I did it for fun. Some questions are biased, like asking how long you take to arrive from London to Chicago. How I know...? And what's nickels, quarters and dunno what else.

You can take this test from Tickle test.
